"the long run is made up of short runs"
Seth Godin is a genius. Every single day he sends an email to his subscribers and shares a snippet of insight. This morning, his email is questioning what you’re doing everyday (the small, cumulative steps) that build and contribute to the life you want to live.
What a perfectly simple yet profound question.
What are you practicing everyday that’s moving you closer to getting exactly what you want?
I’m meeting our favourite girl Julie later today to discuss her progress towards her big travel goal. I’ll share what she’s learned and the progress she’s made so far. One thing I know for sure is that her goal of traveling the world for 6 months is absolutely possible. Julie’s fear of getting so sucked in to her 9-5 job just to pay for her status-quo, ho-hum lifestyle is not going to be realized. She’s committed to what she doesn’t want her life to look like and open to the unknown adventure of trying something new. Obviously, she can’t do the same things as she’s always done or she’ll be right where she is today in one year (or 5 years) from now.
Stay tuned for a Julie update!
In the mean time, what steps are you taking towards your goals today? What are some of the habits that you practice?
