How to Ditch Debt Forever
By nature, The Money Edit is about change and moving forward toward big goals.
One awesomely tangible way to create change is to eliminate debt. Personally, I find the topic of debt elimination more compelling than anything else on earth!
There are a few types a debt. Some perceived as bad, some as good, low risk, higher risk, etc. In my view, carrying any debt means I am not financially independent. By definition, I am dependent on someone else to float my lifestyle. And as I'll share many times, my goal is to become financially independent. My big hairy audacious goal is to make this happen before I'm 40. The math doesn't exactly add up at the moment, but that's what crazy goals and dreaming big are all about!
In next few posts, we are going to figure out our net worth and figure out how much debt we have. The rest of the writing on this blog is going to be about the fastest and most efficient way of getting rid of it!
As a fellow normal human, I don't have access to mountains of cash so, like you, I either have to spend less or earn more (preferably both) to achieve my goals.
Let's do this together! I want to know: how will it feel when you're out of debt?
